Kibbutz Revivim was founded in 1943 by immigrants from Austria, Italy and Germany. During the 1948 Arab-Israeli war, the kibbutz passed behind Egyptian lines. Its members then take refuge in underground shelters and wait to be refuelled by air. Near the kibbutz, Return Revivim is a museum established in an old observation post. He traces the history of this post, from his creation to the present.
