Avdat or Ovdat or Oboda is a former Nabataean town on the Encens Road (also known as the Route Road). It is located south of Sde Sde and Ben Gurion University on the main road to Rejoindre Ramon. It has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2005.
