This community of more than 3,600 inhabitants lives mainly from agricultural activities. The wooded hills, the vast green areas and fields of crops that make up its landscape offer some nice walks. But its main attraction is undoubtedly the Castellum Fractum dating back to the Iberian period, a fairly well-preserved architectural complex perched on the top of a hill that was later used as a fortified village by the Romans. From here you can also enjoy a breathtaking view of the entire comarca and on sunny days the Costa Brava can be seen in the distance. An essential visit for archaeology and history lovers.
