Located 3 km south of La Tallada, this village is renowned for its "Dance of Death" held every Holy Thursday, but it also boasts a small medieval center well worth a visit. This part is surrounded by a fortified enclosure, six towers of which are still preserved. In the center, you'll find the town hall, built on the site of the former castle of the Counts of Empúries, of which only the north wall remains, and the church of Sant Julià i Santa Basilissa, in Romanesque style from the 12th century, with neo-Gothic reformed parts.
