Travel Guide Parc De Les Guilleries

The massif des Guilleries is a natural park on horseback between the comarca de la Selva and the Osona, culminating in the Faig Verd (1 187 metres). This vast expanse mainly covered by oaks, slums and a few pine forests is dotted with a dozen small mountain villages of a few hundred inhabitants, except for the village of Sant Hilari Sacalm, which accounts for just over 5 000. Many Romanesque and Préromans buildings are discovered in the various municipalities, the large architectural heritage in Sant Hilari. The many natural sources available to the park are as many hikes as the queen activity here. Let us note in this respect the singularity of the municipality of La Selva, also known as the Villa of 100 fountains because of the hundred sources it registers.
