Valvasone is remarkable for its castle, which houses a tiny Italian-style theater where the nobles used to come to see shows, but also the peasants. Notice the beautiful frescoes in the church and especially its organ dated 1532, an instrument with a remarkable sound where the greatest organists in the world come to play. In the main street, another small church also has remarkable medieval frescoes. Valvasone is the birthplace of the seven Jacuzzi brothers, who immigrated to the United States in the early 1900s and made their fortune there: they invented the famous whirlpool bath that bears their name!
