Travel Guide Red Frog Beach

This destination is included in most of the tours of the agencies in Bocas. The large white sand beach is beautiful and has facilities for those who would like to have lunch or sleep there. The waves are perfect in season for beginners and intermediate surfers, but be careful because of the currents. Some developments since 2008 to build a large resort have somewhat spoiled the peacefulness of the place and the famous red frogs have been somewhat disturbed by the bulldozers. Fortunately, the project has been largely revised downwards. Another danger for the frogs is that children catch them in the morning to show them to tourists and ask for money for a picture.
