The seaside resort, also known for its wine and olive oil, is located 8 km south of Split, between the rivers Zrnovnica and Mutogras, and is becoming increasingly popular with developers. The municipality extends over several kilometers of small bays, beaches and coves, where you can find a large number of old villas. Archeological findings testify to the eventful history of the city since the settlement of the Illyrians. History lovers can visit the megalithic blocks on the walls of Pituntija, the mound of Pišenica, late antique villas in Polaa, the Cindro house and several churches.
