It is in Dadizele that tourist life makes sense, thanks in particular to its basilica. This pilgrimage place - which has been attracting many thousands of visitors since the th century - annually hosts tens of thousands of visitors. Originally church, Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, built between 1860 and 1878, became four years later on the decision of Pope Leo XIII. This place contains many architectural treasures, but also some paintings made at the end of the th century, tracing the history of the sites. In particular, the crypt houses the grave of Chevalier Jean de Dadizele, who died in 1481. Since 1977 Dadizele has been a section of the municipality of Moorslede and has hosted the most famous amusement park in Belgium until 2003.
