Among the localities and hamlets, there is La Forge, which was called Les Deux Poiriers in the 12th century, or Champ Jardinier, the former monks' garden. The Abbey of La Bussière, also known as the Abbey of Notre-Dame des Trois Vallées, is a former Cistercian abbey founded in the 12th century. A high place of spirituality, which was also the burial place of the wives of the Dukes of Burgundy.
