If we were to refer to a neighborhood, it would be Lurin, which lies to the east of Gustavia. Gouverneur is best known for its beach. One of the most enchanting on the island! The plunging, winding road leading to it is a scenic drive in itself. Before the construction of the private property on the bay in the 1970s, this area was entirely natural. Up in the hills are the Grottes de Gouverneur. A rare site with a succession of small caves. Caving in Saint-Barth is possible if you're accompanied! It's not unusual to find fossils in this area.
