Situated 40 kilometres west of Dijon, this small village with a population of about 100 is worth a visit for its magnificent castle, classified as a historical monument since 1949. Fortified in the 14th century and of classical inspiration, it was the object of a reconstruction between 1702 and 1713. It was spared by the Revolution. It has superb furniture and rich interior decorations dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. In Commarin, you should not hesitate to take a look at the church of Saint-Thibaud and the three-pillar repository, also a listed monument
