With more than 180,000 inhabitants, Bayamón is thesecond largest city in the country after San Juan. Although it does not have many tourist attractions, it does have a few museums of interest, including the Francisco Oller Museum and the Manatee Conservation Center (Center for the protection of manatees). The Tren Urbano connects Bayamón, south of the capital, with Santurce, the university district of Rio Piedras and the business center of Hato Rey. There are no other trains, streetcars or subways in San Juan. The Tren Urbano runs from 5:30 am to 11:30 pm, and the ticket costs US$ 1.50 (the day pass is US$ 5).
