Situated on the northern slope of the island, this village is at the exit of Valverde, of which it is a little extension, towards the Peña viewpoint. It is a small, picturesque, high altitude village that is the most populated in the former Barlavento area, and the second most populated in the municipality of Valverde. Some of these corners have preserved traditional Canarian architecture, and its San Pedro church, dating from the 15th century, can be seen there. You will also find many rural accommodations offered by associations as well as service companies that organize guided tours to discover the island.
