It is the last large forest in the savannah and steppe country. Large mammals (hippos, monkeys, crocodiles, hyenas, panthers) were elected home, as well as a large number of bird species. It remained inaccessible for more than a decade because of the conflict in the region. Is not open to tourists at the moment. Less than 16 kilometres away, the Ornithological ornithological reserve (ha), shorelines and sandy islets, including colonies of terns and pelicans, and marine turtles, are located. That year round, according to the National Tourist Promotion Agency (ANPT).
