Between Abéné and Kafountine, Diannah is one of the largest traditional villages in the region, populated mainly by Mandingo people. The inhabitants maintain a traditional way of life, fishing, raising livestock and growing rice and millet, among other crops. Between the bolongs, the palm groves and the magnificent beach on the Atlantic coast, the village invites you to reconnect with nature. In fact, several camps run by European expatriates offer a warm welcome in the heart of the lush vegetation. To reach them on the mangrove or seaside, you can travel along pretty red dirt tracks, by motorcycle or car.
