27 km to the south, this traditional village of 300 inhabitants, set on the mountain, rises on the green slopes of a hill that falls into the blue sea. It consists of elegant two-story houses with tiled roofs between the narrow streets. You will see beautiful 16th century frescoes in the church of Analipsis. Nearby, the beach of Mikros Gialos has a camping site (with studios) and the picturesque port of Syvota, a meeting point for pleasure boats, has a few specialized taverns (fresh fish and seafood). There is also a sailing school. Poros offers some rooms for rent.
