If the sun doesn't hit too hard, it may be worth walking - rather than taking a water taxi - to this small village on the water's edge, a 30-minute walk and two short kilometres from the port. Here you will find a few rooms for rent and taverns, as well as the luxurious Four Seasons. A nice walk to a beach (which is already rare in Hydra), well equipped and less crowded than the rare accesses around the harbour, with nice little tavernas on the way and less people on the beach than closer to Hydra. On the gastronomy side, you will be able to settle down at Castello, one of the beautiful and good tables of the island, also a little out of the way?
