Beautifully located on the banks of the Neckar River, in the heart of its idyllic wine-growing region, the small town of Marbach (15 000 inhabitants) presents a very beautiful old town surrounded by medieval walls, built with two-timbered houses and a beautiful Gothic Gothic church. It's a charming step about kilometres north of Stuttgart. Marbach is inscribed in the soul of German literature since it is the home city of one of the country's greatest romantic poets, Friedrich Schiller, who was born in 1759. The Schiller-Nationalmuseum is an essential player for German literature lovers.
