Nestling between the Loky River to the north and the Manambato River to the south, this protected area, also known as Daraina, is located in a region of great biodiversity: the endemism rate is estimated at 84% for plants and 40-90% for animals! There are 1,273 plant species, 74 reptile species and at least 11 species of lemur, including Tattersall's sifaka. A new lemur belonging to the Phaner genus was recently discovered here. A wonderful immersion in unspoilt nature, in contact with the local population. The Fanamby association, which manages the area, offers a number of tents with private sanitary facilities for overnight stays.
