A round pocket island! it takes only 10 minutes to walk around this islet of 150 m in diameter, planted at 800 m from Cerf and covered with dense vegetation: takamakas, lataniers, sandragons, albizzias... Surrounded by a thin fringe of sand and culminating at 26 m, it is a real floating grove of 5 ha, in the heart of the natural marine park of Sainte-Anne, which is said to be rich in some 150 varieties of fish. A page has recently been turned, as the Calais family has sold their little piece of land to Glenn Savy, one of the most powerful Seychelles businessmen. Ronde is now also open to luxury tourism, under the sweet name of Enchanted Island.
