Between the airport and the luxurious Lemuria Resort lies Anse Kerlan where hotels and guesthouses follow one another. Unlike Côte d'Or, here each establishment is rather isolated, which makes it an ideal resort for those who want a little peace and quiet. On the other hand, if the beaches follow each other along the road, they are somewhat invaded by seaweed and do not have the charm of the other side of Praslin. Nevertheless, the spot is very popular with the lucky ones who come to put down their suitcases at the prestigious Lemuria, a beacon of tourism in the "Sesel" and which is a huge success, in the heart of a 110 ha estate. This hotel has integrated into the site perfectly, without even disturbing the sea turtles that always come to lay, from October to February, set back from the beach, their eggs being 55 days under the protection of the turtle manager of Lemuria. To get a taste of this palace without living there, you can cross it to go and put your towel on the sumptuous Anse Georgette (call the hotel beforehand to book for free) and/or take a hike to Anse Lazio (3h round trip) Since 2021, the road has been extended and goes to the right just before Lemuria. It goes up to the Terrace at Lazio, a favorite hotel, and stops just above the sublime Anse Lazio. It only takes about ten minutes to walk down to the beach (twice as long to go back up) or to enjoy the panorama at sunset. In short, no need to go around the island to reach Lazio when you live on the Grand Anse side!
