From Port Glaud, it is absolutely necessary to take the superb coastal road of Port Launay, alas in dead end at the level of Baie Ternay, since it is a military zone beyond. This road is not very busy, but it is worth the round trip. It is punctuated by deserted beaches, including the tiny Anse Souillac, which is well worth a stop for a delicious idle break. Opposite the island of Conception, we are in the protected area of the Port Launay National Marine Park (better preserved than that of Sainte-Anne). The large beach of Port Launay is also perfect, which the Seychellois know very well, since they go there in large numbers on weekends.
