What a pretty Perche village that Saint-Cyr-la-Rosière is! To get there, you have to take the hilly and winding country roads that give the region its charm. Above all known for its priory of Sainte-Gauburge, where the Ecomusée du Perche has taken up residence, the village also has two beautiful churches: Saint-Cyr and Sainte-Julitte with its 12th century Romanesque portal, its capitals decorated with interlacing glass and foliage. Also worth seeing is the 15th century Notre-Dame de Clémencé limestone chapel, with its stained glass window and statue of the Virgin Mary in a niche on the façade.
