Around its small church, the village has long been known to offer visitors a change of scenery, with its many forest walks and viewpoints over the region. Populated by the penniless Little Whites after the abolition of slavery, the place was for a long time devoted to subsistence farming and then to geranium farming. On the departmental road, at an altitude of about 650 m, you will see the "Maison Cadeau", a crazy dream of an architect, René Lemayen, who had this house literally built as a gift (with the concrete knot, please) to celebrate his first housing project.
