The village of Caldonazzo, 15 km from Trento, is located a short distance from the lake of the same name, which is the largest lake basin in Trentino. To get there, you have to cross the apple fields where the juicy apples of Trentino come from. The banks of the lake (5 minutes on foot from the town center), equipped for all kinds of sports activities, are ideal for walks, bike rides and relaxation. The town is dominated by the Trapp Castle, a 15th century fortress where the local lords administered justice themselves.
