Olhos de Agua is a small fishing village located 6 km from Albufeira. Its name, which means "eyes of water", refers to the fresh water springs located not far from the coast. That's why Phoenicians, Romans and Carthaginians had settled there. Today, the village itself does not require much attention, but the hotels, which offer good value for money, represent an alternative accommodation away from the frenzy of Albufeira. Its proximity to the sites makes it a convenient place to explore the area. The town has a nice little white sand beach, Praia de Olhos de Agua, known for its calm waters
