This is another charming village that you have to visit absolutely! Located 20 km northeast of Navahroudak, Lubcha seems to have been on the edge of the Nemunas since its Foundation, probably in the th century. He has always belonged to the princes of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. With the arrival of the Radziwill family, a strong Protestant community is setting up a large European cultural centre. In 1612 there was a printing machine, then a museum of art and a large workshop where the glass was worked. The city's cultural and economic life is linked to its castle, whose construction begins in 1581 and ends in the th century under the reign of the Radziwill. It stands majestically on the left bank of Nemunas; of its four stone and brick towers, there are only two. During the First World War, it was severely damaged. From its heights, an unforgettable view opens onto the Nemunas. You can also visit the Saint-Elie Orthodox Church.
