At the edge of the Vrličko Polje valley, at 470 m above sea level, the municipality lives under the roof of Croatia, the Dinara and its mountain Svilaja, which culminates at 1831 m. It is here that the Cetina River rises before flowing into the Adriatic in Omiš. Unspoilt nature is reflected in the waters of the river and Lake Peruča. This locality enjoys a mix of sub-Mediterranean and continental mountain climate, which makes it a healthy place to stay, especially for people with respiratory diseases.
