Kejimkujik National Park, in the heart of Nova Scotia, is a region of lakes with a strange and enchanting atmosphere, covering a wooded area of 381 km ². The Mi'kmaq tribes, formerly the inhabited, had established their hunting and fishing camp, due to the quiet and fish rivers that criss-crossed it. Here, asphalt is not the right to cite. Only hiking trails and canoeing circuits can discover this region, known for the variety of its wildlife: Virginia deer, moose, loon, piping plover. Beginners can get to the canoe either on the Mersey River or on Kejimkujik Lake. Others will rent a bicycle, or enjoy the beautiful beach of Or to bathe. In winter, the park receives cross-skiers and snowshoes. An appendix to the park extends by sea (west of Liverpool), where it ends in cliffs where seals can be seen.
