From Kahului, follow the Haleakala Highway and turn onto Makawao Avenue at Pukalani. Downtown Makawao is located at the intersection of Baldwin Avenue and Makawao Avenue. Or take bus #40, or the Upcountry Islander, to the Kaahumanu Center in Kahului. Get off at Pukalani Terrace.
