A path leads to the top of the volcano, where a natural viewpoint offers an incredible panorama of the islands, immortalized on postcards and in the film Master and Commander. Its natural grey craters give it a special charm. Its flora is composed of red mangroves and cacti. The island of only 1 km² is populated by a colony of Galapagos penguins and grey lava lizards. The schools of sharks that patrol its beaches can dampen the spirits of those wishing to swim. But many agencies offer snorkeling. Visit to be combined with that of Sullivan's Bay on Santiago Island.
