Unlike other islands (or islets), Santa Fé, also named Barrington by some cartographers, is relatively flat; its highest point is only 260 m. It is 24m2 and has a beautiful vegetation made of Palo Santo (the one whose wood is used as incense) and of the giant Opuntia cactus often decorated with superb flowers of a bright orange. It also offers beautiful white sand beaches, populated by sea lions, sea turtles, land iguanas, the falcon and the Galapagos mockingbird. To the north of the island, a lagoon invites you to snorkel. It is 2h30 sailing from Santa Cruz and 3h from San Cristobal.
