Small island of 1.9 km2, located north of the island of Baltra. It is named after a British nobleman, Lord Hugh Seymour, an officer in the Royal Navy. This flat island has low vegetation(túpida). This small island rich in fauna is inhabited by blue-footed boobies, swallow-tailed gulls, sea lions, frigate birds and colonies of land iguanas. It is also known as Bird Island because you can easily see nesting blue-footed boobies and frigate birds near the trail. The red goiter of the latter will not have any secret for you either
