The two cities are in fact only one city, cut in two by the river Térraba. In the center of the Diquis valley, in a region of banana plantations, it is here that one can see these mysterious stone spheres identical to those discovered in Isla del Caño. Located on the delta of the Sierpe River, it hosts one of the largest mangrove forests in the world. For this reason, the city is frequently animated by groups of tourists coming to prepare their expedition to the Osa Peninsula. We advise you to stay in Sierpe, a few kilometers to the south, from where the boats leave for Corcovado and Isla del Caño.
