The most picturesque of the coastal villages and a developed station that kept all its stamp. Some of the old houses, some of which go back to the Middle Ages, beautiful facades, turrets and échauguettes, a pleasant stroll to the centre, randomly of cobbled streets, on each side of Hauptstrasse, before running towards the water. See, the castle and its museum, Römerhof, the city hall (1791) and the most beautiful of the Renaissance and medieval residences Rotes Haus, Haus zur Torwache, Amtshaus, Turmhaus), as well as the Gallus chapel and its Gothic frescoes (xvith). The promenade along the lake is well-appointed and lively. The very regular attendance has developed Arbon over the years, by making a real tourist town, even though, out of season, we live there still very quietly. The port and its surroundings are very pleasant.
