Located on the road to Oslo. Moss is only 1 hour by train from the capital. It's an industrial town, rather sleepy culturally and ultimately unattractive to tourists. Two reasons to visit: the Moss Rygge international airport, where you may land, especially if you travel by low-cost airlines, and the Jeløy peninsula, 4 km from the center of Moss, home to the F15 gallery and the Sjøhaug naturist center. Green initiatives are introduced on a regular basis, most recently in the form of closed bicycle parking facilities. A city that's likely to grow in the years to come. Water sports festival in June.
