Belonging to the Binah prefecture, Kétao is located about 20 km northeast of Kara, towards the Benin border. To reach this town of more than 12,000 inhabitants, you must take the national road no. 16, which passes through Lassa. On Wednesdays, Kétao is bustling with life around its large market, one of the most important in the country. A real commercial crossroads, the city attracts traders from Benin, Burkina Faso and also Ghana.
