It is a beautiful city of culture and history, but also of leisure and mountains, surrounded by numerous peaks above 2000 m. From Spittal onwards, the Drau valley widens and really shapes the landscape as far as Villach. The succession of mountain lakes in the valley offers wonderful excursion destinations: Millstätter See is the nearest, followed by Brennsee and Afritzersee; in the south, Weissensee and Presseggersee in the Gail Valley. In this community you will find a Porsche Museum, open from mid-May to mid-October, and a Museum of Upper Carinthian Folklore at the same times
