A very tourist, but truly charming village, located on the shores of Wolfgangsee Lake, in the heart of the Salzkammergut, surrounded by the summits of Zwölferhorn and Schafberg (accessible), in a quiet environment, you will enjoy the lakeside walks and the narrow streets and pedestrian streets of Sankt Wolfgang.When arriving, park in one of the many parking lots in the village and reach the centre along the lake. You will have a wonderful perspective on the village. The parish church, in flamboyant Gothic style, has a very rich interior whose main treasure is the Frueauf altarpiece (1481), one of the most beautiful in the country.
