Wenns is a small Austrian municipality of 2,000 inhabitants, part of the Imst district. Its central location in the Pitztal valley makes it a relatively important village in the valley. Tourism is the main activity, particularly skiing in winter, although Wenns does not have its own ski slopes. The village of Wenns is best known for its "Platzhaus", decorated with rich Renaissance paintings depicting biblical and secular subjects. A very charming village in both summer and winter, well worth a visit if you're in the area.
