The vineyards, the castle and the huge landscape park (the largest in Europe) shared with Valtice make Lednice an important and unique point of interest in the country. Its history begins in 1222 with the mention of a fortress, which became the property of the princes of Liechtenstein until 1945. The area, slightly hilly, is crossed by many cycle tracks pleasant to follow in good weather. We recommend that you cycle from castle to temple or pond.
