Set back from the Volturno Valley, Scapoli and its surroundings have an economic activity based on craftsmanship specialized in the manufacture of the musette-cornemuse. In July, the town hosts a musette fair, accompanied by folklore shows. The panorama from the town's belvedere, with its spectacle of wooded and rocky plateaus, is not to be missed. Opposite, the ghost village of Rocchetta Alta stands on its spur, dominated by the ruins of its castle and church: following repeated landslides from the 1920s, it was abandoned by its inhabitants. The site is inaccessible because of its danger.
