Pescocostanzo is an authentic village, located within the National Park of the Majella. Its charming historical center, with its paved streets and white stone walls, has been preserved over the centuries. Ranked among the "100 most beautiful villages in Italy", Pescocostanzo offers a superb view of the surrounding mountains, both in summer and in winter, and is well worth a visit during a stay in the province of L'Aquila! Historically, this village reached its peak between the 15th and 18th centuries. Three great families succeeded each other: the Colonna, the Selveri and the Testa, who built Pescocostanzo as it is still visible today.
