A descendant of the Roman Trebiae, Trevi is full of attractions, both for its location overlooking the valley south of Mount Serano and for its medieval monuments. Foremost among these is, of course, the church of San Emiliano (10th century), which is distinguished by its Renaissance altar and facade, and the church of San Francesco (13th century) by its frescoes. The Palazzo Comunale and the Pinacoteca are worth a visit for lovers of medieval art. To see also: the museum of the olive oil. This town has obtained the label of the Most Beautiful Towns in Italy, created in 2001 by the Tourism Council of the National Association of Italian Municipalities
