The underground hospital located at the exit of the village in the direction of Al-Qlaya'a is going to Khiam. Its origin dates back to the Second World War. Towards the end of 1941, British and French troops loyal to General De Gaulle built this underground hospital in anticipation of clashes with the Germans. Finally, the place will never be used. With an area of 8 750 m 2, this hospital was dug on the same level at 5 m under a field of olive trees. If access is possible, you will discover a maze of corridors and multiple rooms (more than 50) of different areas. We will notice the rainwater pipes, dug on the sides. This monument was taken over by the American Mercy Corps organization and plans to transform it into a Second World war. The project was to be launched in early 2005.
