Renowned for its monastery, this village is also one of the last places where you can listen to glasoečko (Гласоечко), a polyphonic shepherd's song included by Unesco since 2015 on the "list of intangible heritage in need of urgent safeguarding". This tradition is typical of the Macedonian Orthodox of Dolni Polog, the small region of Tearce and Lešok. The glasoečko is performed by a trio of men, sometimes accompanied by the kaval (flute) and gajda (bagpipes). There is a main melodic line and a counterpoint. The result evokes European songs of the Middle Ages and those still practiced in Epirus, between Greece and Albania. Glasoečko can be heard at concerts in Lešok. The two most active groups are the Kladenec trio (facebook.com/triokladenec) and the Gavrovski trio(facebook.com/triogavrovski.folklore).
