About 10 kilometers north of Nawalgarh, on the road to Mandawa, this small town is dominated by a fort dating from the eighteenth century transformed into a hotel. It has preserved some beautiful rooms: reception hall, women's quarters and some wall decorations. The Goenka family built several havelis in Dundlod. The best preserved one is on the small square in front of the fort. At the bottom of the village, a pretty well decorated with chhatris stands next to the cenotaph of Ram Dutt Goenka. Described by some guidebooks as a pure marvel, it certainly shelters the vestiges of precious wall paintings, but it was especially transformed into... public toilets.
