Bredasdorp, there, always seems very difficult to reach. This feeling contributes to the magic of the journey that leads us to Cape Agulhas, the southernmost point of the African continent. Coming from Cape Town, we will have chosen the R316 from Caledon, in order to pass through Napier where there is a curious church in the shape of a Greek cross. The town, at the centre of an agricultural and merino sheep breeding region, is in a way the capital of the southern tip. Don't miss the shed at the corner of Patterson Road and First Avenue, where you'll find a wide range of hand-carved candles. Superb design and colours.
