Cape Agulhas was named after the Portuguese navigators who had noticed that the needles of their compass were pointing north without any variation. After a long drive along sandy bays, small villages and rugged landscapes, you are at the end of the world! The Agulhas Cape is the southernmost point of Africa. Less breathtaking than Good Hope, the symbolism remains strong, we are at the end of Africa: 34° 49' 58. We enjoy the enchantment of the meeting of the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean, the power of the wind and the waves. Lighthouse, small restaurant, shop and a nice walk.
